Вопрос о соотношении родного и иностранного языков на занятиях по иностранному языку интересует многих преподавателей, работающих в различных возрастных группах и с различным уровнем языковой полготовки учащихся. С одной стороны, поскольку процесс овладения иностранным языком в нашей ситуации происходит вне пределов страны изучаемого языка, без непосредственного контакта с его носителями и под руководством преподавателя – не носителя языка, эффективность обучения зависит о того, удастся ли создать на занятиях атмосферу, максимально приближенную к естественной языковой ситуации. С другой стороны, очевидно, что иностранный язык может усваиваться только через призму родного языка. Иными словами, процесс овладения речевой деятельностью на иностранном языке не может не накладываться на базовый код родного языка.
